PIR ILLAHI BUX

Honourable Pir Illahi Bux was born in 1895 at village Pir Goth District Dadu. He completed his LLB in 1928 & started his practice in 1929. He joined political party and became Education Minister in 1937. He started a newspaper in 1942 from karachi with the name of “AZAD”. He had established Sindh Muslim College Karachi in 1943. He also presented the bill in assembly to establish Sindh University in 1944. He was founder of Sindh Muslim Law College, Dow Medical College at karachi and Agriculture College in Sakrand in 1947. He became Chief Minister of Sindh Province from 1948 to 1949. He also started second newspaper with the name “MUJAHID” in 1948. He laid down the foundation stone of Sarwari Islamia College Hala in 1951. He became the member of Sindh Assembly and Party General Secretary in 1953. He became the member of Western Pakistan Assembly in 1956. After 1958 he left politics for good and all.

We have completed 25 years & celebrate silver jubilee. Our LL.B. Degree programme offers the core studies required by the professional bodies together with an out standing range of options. The college brings together many different interests, areas of expertise and approaches to legal studies. We strive to maintain interactive classes and provide a supportive and participatory approach to learning. Government Pir Illahi Bux law College Dadu graduates have frequently transformed the country we live in. The aims of the college are to promote excellence in teaching , learning and research in Law. The college has a high national reputation as as centre for pioneering interdisciplinary and comparatively legal research and for our unique approach towards education, combining professionalism with a personal and friendly ethos.
